2. Privacy on this website
When you visit this website, only data required for the technical delivery, communication through the contact forms and secure operation of the website is processed. User behaviour is not analysed and no user profiles are created.
Images, stylesheets and other files required for presentation are served locally from this website wherever possible.
3. Cookies and local storage
The public TYPELOG website does not use its own cookies for analytics, marketing or profiling purposes. Technically necessary cookies or comparable technologies may be used where required for individual functions or security mechanisms.
TYPELOG Worktimer is a locally executed HTML application. Working times, projects, settings and other Worktimer data are stored locally in the user’s browser. This locally stored Worktimer data is not automatically transmitted by the TYPELOG website to TYPELOG or to another server.
4. Server log files and hosting
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technically necessary server log data. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the requested file or page, transferred data volume, referrer, browser and operating system.
The processing is carried out to provide the website securely and reliably on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The website is hosted by GMX. Where the hosting provider processes personal data on our behalf, this is carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection requirements for processing on behalf of a controller.
5. SSL/TLS encryption
This website is provided via encrypted HTTPS connections. This protects data transmitted between your browser and the web server against simple interception by third parties.
6. Contact by email
If you contact TYPELOG by email, the information you provide will be processed in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
Depending on the nature of the enquiry, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual measures, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in efficient communication.
7. Contact and enquiry forms
If you contact us using a contact or enquiry form provided on this website, the data you enter, including the contact details provided, will be processed in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
Depending on the form, this may include your name, company, email address, telephone number, voluntarily provided additional information and your message.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the preparation or performance of a contract. In other cases, processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or our legitimate interest in efficiently handling enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data submitted through the form is stored only for as long as necessary to process the enquiry or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect our contact and enquiry forms against automated submissions and spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When a protected form is loaded and used, technical information required to distinguish human access from automated access may be processed. This may include, in particular, the IP address, browser information, operating system, referrer, date and time.
The processing is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in protecting our website and, in particular, our contact forms against misuse and automated spam submissions.
Where personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is carried out on the basis of the applicable data protection safeguards.
Further information is available in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
9. External links, especially Etsy
The website contains links to external services, in particular the TYPELOG shop on Etsy. As long as you do not click such a link, simply visiting the TYPELOG website does not establish a connection to Etsy through that link.
When you follow an external link, you leave the TYPELOG website. The respective external provider is responsible for any subsequent processing of personal data, and that provider’s privacy policy applies.
10. Storage duration and deletion
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply. Once the purpose of processing no longer applies and there is no statutory retention obligation, the relevant data will be deleted or its processing restricted.
11. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have in particular the right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR and objection pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.
